These Realtors all Seem to Agree that there is no Collusion, Rate Setting, Boycotting, Anti-Trust Violations, or Forced Membership Agenda.

How can I really offer You, the Consumer competative Rates
when the peer pressure pushes me out of the
industry if I even try.

There Certainly is a Restriction of Trade.  I am told by the Association of Realtors Attorney and the State Law that I cannot give a Buyer a Rebate.  This is TOTAL control of my Business and limits me from doing good.  This is CERTAINLY a Restriction of trade.

And they seem to suggest that real estate is hard to do and that we have strenous education requirements, Not True.

I feel that the MLS and the Association of Realtors is a
Forced Membership, if you don't play by Their Rules than
they won't let you pay.

These Letter Seem to Suggest that you the Buyer, the Public, will have no recourse if you do not use a Realtor.  And that if somehow I give a buyers rebate or cash back than my service is less of a protection for you than that of a Realtor.  This is Simply NOT true.

As Dorothy Johnson suggests "I wonder how the public will get compensation from them when something goes awry."  I guarantee you that the Public she suggest will get no support or compensation from a REALTOR when
things go awry.

Thousands of New Realtors Joining Every Year is NOT a Good Thing.

Some of the Letters from THESE Realtors are the SAME letters, Hmmm...
no Collusion There...

Than there is This Letter

Subject: Yes I am competive - it is the business-Educated Real;tors

represent homeowners legal rights the best

Point 1: Real estate is a model of competition

Point 2: MLSs are cooperatives, NOT public utilities

Point 3: The new ILD policy is a win-win for consumers and REALTORS®

PLEASE NOTE, THE ISSUES ARE: WE HAVE PERFORMED SERVICES FOR OUR BUYERS AND SELLERS IN CALIFORNIA TO THE EXTENT THEY DO NOT NEED LAWYERS. THE EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS ARE MANDATORY. OUR ETHICS PLEDGE IS PRIMARY WAY TO PROTECT HOMEOWNERS.

Spelling Errors, inappropriate CAPS and Agressive Concepts.
She thinks Realtors represent homeowners rights the BEST.
This is absolutely Wrong, We are NOT even taught what thos
rights are, how in the heck can we protect the Consumer?

MLS's are Not as Cooperative as She Suggests
there is Drama, Attitude, Games, Offers slipped in just before my buyer, it is DOG eat Dog and it is not Healthy Competition.

She also says that Buyers and Sellers in California do Not need Lawyers, EXCUSE ME.  This is NOT good at all.  Buyers and Sellers had better involve a lawyer, the Realtors do not even know the law unless they are lawyers or make the effort to study it.  Sure they get the book but do they read it.  Any 18 year old off the street can be a Realtor, hire them and forget the attorney.  Hmmmm - Great Advice Jeanne.

Jeane also says that "OUR ETHICS PLEDGE IS PRIMARY WAY TO PROTECT HOMEOWNERS". You have got to be kidding, a Pledge that I take can protect YOU.  There is No Way this is true.  A pledge is a pledge.  A junior high game at best.  It is not law and there is NO protection for the consumer in a PLEDGE.

These Letters from Realtors are simply grasping at saving their careers when they are REALLY no longer needed.  With the Power of the Internet You can Easily Sell your home yourself.  A Realtor DOES not replace an Attorney, and Let me Tell you this, they are NOT CHEAPER.

These are Just Some of the Reasons I QUIT Realtor at the End of 2007.  It is a Nasty Business.  And YOU lose.  I guarantee it.
